For today’s episode I had the great pleasure to interview Dr. Hooman Noorchashm. Hooman is a physician-scientist in the Philadelphia area. He attended the University of Pennsylvania where he earned his MD degree, as well as, a PhD degree in immunology. His research in cellular immunology was supported by multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health for over a decade. He completed his internship and residency training in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. His areas of focus currently are in Immunology, medical ethics and patient safety. He is an advocate for safe COVID-19 vaccination and for women’s health. He shares with us his #screenb4vaccine campaign. I hope this conversation empowers you as much as it did me!
